The Christmas Store
This December, the lower level at Parkside Westside will be transformed into The Christmas Store 2021, in order to provide some Christmas joy to about 250 children from over 100 families in Lakewood. Each child will receive a Christmas stocking filled with age-appropriate gifts and goodies. In addition, Parkside Westside, in partnership with Lakewood Human Services, Truth For Life, and other donors, will provide families with children’s books, pajamas, and gift cards to purchase gifts for their children and groceries for the holidays.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
There are several ways that you can help with this year’s Christmas Store.

Thursday, Nov. 18 | Sign-up and join us from 6:00-8:00pm for a shopping night. We’ll meet for dinner (on your own) at the Wendy’s on Center Ridge at 6, then head over to Target at Westgate to purchase small items from the Stocking Stuffer List to fill the stockings.

Sunday, Nov. 28 | Is the last day to drop off Christmas cards! Make some Christmas cards, or purchase some, then write an encouraging note from “Your friends at Parkside Church Westside.” Drop the cards off at the Welcome area at the church building. Please do NOT seal the envelopes! We hope to hand out at least one card to each family that visits the Christmas Store this year (100+).

Tuesday, Nov. 30 | Help to Stuff the Stockings from 9:00am - noon in the lower level of the building. Sign up and find out more HERE.

Thursday, Dec. 2 | Help set up and decorate the Christmas Store from 9:00am - noon in the lower level of the church building. Sign-up and find out more information HERE.

Sign-up to help during The Christmas Store hours, when we’ll distribute the stockings, gift cards, and treats to all the families. Timeslots available are listed on the sign-up form.
